This seminar is intended to provide basic, practical instruction on how to identify various roofing systems, understand basic methods of installation, and recognize simple storm-related damages. Through the hands-on display of material samples and the discussion of key roofing terminology, the session will focus on commonly used systems for both low-slope and steep-slope installations. Additionally, the course will explore real-world examples of damage to these various roofing systems caused by severe weather conditions, such as hail events and windstorms.
