Technical Expertise

Our research and testing department has contributed meaningfully to the broader technical community with multiple SAE publications to our credit. Most recently, the team authored “An Evaluation of the Bosch Radar-Based Adaptive Cruise Control System on a 2022 Ducati Multistrada V4S,” showcasing our ability to conduct detailed analysis at the intersection of vehicle performance and modern sensing systems. In addition, YA has extensive experience planning and executing full-scale crash testing programs for individual projects as well as for broader industry organizations. Notably, we led the moving automobile–to–moving motorcycle crash test series at the WREX (World Reconstruction Exposition) conference utilizing fully automated, remotely controlled vehicles and fully instrumented motorcycles with full-scale crash dummies.

Hands-On Engineering Expertise

Our in-house fabrication and engineering capabilities enable the development of highly specialized test rigs and structural components. From designing fixtures for bumper impact evaluation to outfitting vehicles with custom roll cages and outriggers, our skilled technicians bring both ingenuity and hands-on experience to complex technical challenges. Many members of our staff are trained in vehicle limit handling—across both motorcycles and automobiles—which further enhances our ability to understand, model, and evaluate real-world operating conditions.
