Following major disasters like Hurricane Michael in Georgia and Hurricane Irma in Florida, our team recently partnered with local stakeholders to develop comprehensive Disaster Recovery and Redevelopment Plans for affected counties. We facilitated public workshops, engaged community leaders, and assessed risks, impacts, and recovery capacity to design strategies that prevent future losses. Our work also included coordinating with federal and state agencies, developing Recovery Support Strategies, and identifying funding and project opportunities—ensuring communities receive the resources and guidance needed to rebuild efficiently and sustainably.

We help states secure Enhanced Mitigation Plan status and Program Administration by States (PAS) delegation, unlocking greater control, faster approvals, and increased access to federal mitigation funding. Our team guides states through every requirement, from application review and benefit-cost analysis to fiscal management, data refinement, and mitigation planning, reducing administrative burden while strengthening program outcomes.

Where states achieved initial approval, we successfully maintained PAS delegation for every presidential disaster declaration since 2017, delivering consistent performance and federal confidence. As a result, our work has helped secure more than $400 million in additional resilience funding, directing critical resources to at-risk grantees and subrecipients and strengthening long-term community resilience.
