YA Group was engaged to evaluate whether a portable space heater’s internal thermostat was accurately regulating temperature under normal operating conditions after its performance was questioned in a product liability matter. A controlled testing program was needed to recreate representative operating environments while producing reliable, repeatable data that could withstand technical and legal scrutiny.
