Professional Biography
Whitt Achord is an Equipment Loss Consultant with over 15 years of experience in the medical device industry. Whitt installed, maintained, and repaired diagnostic laboratory instrumentation with a concentration in blood gas, coagulation, chemistry, and immunoassay analyzers. Additionally, he has extensive experience and training with imaging systems, where he specialized in installation, repair, and maintenance, along with optimizing image quality, on a wide range of imaging modalities, including X-Ray, vascular, and fluoroscopy. He also has experience installing and repairing surgical lighting and video monitors.
Since joining YA Group in 2023, Whitt has expanded his expertise to include a wide range of electromechanical devices, including elevators, HVAC, manufacturing, water processing, research laboratory, and general electrical equipment.
