Dr. Malek Alaouie is a Partner at YA Group and a Certified Industrial Hygienist, Certified Safety Professional, and Certified Indoor Environmentalist with more than 17 years of experience in industrial hygiene, operations management, aerobiology, and indoor environmental quality (IEQ). His expertise spans occupational health and safety, indoor air quality, and environmental infection control, with project experience across the U.S., the Middle East, and Europe.
Malek has extensive experience in occupational exposure assessments, health and safety program development, engineering controls evaluation, and job hazard analysis. He has particular expertise in environmental infection control, with a focus on clean room environments and high-containment laboratories, as well as outdoor aeroallergen research and investigations.
Malek’s doctoral research focused on environmental exposure and sustainable technologies designed to improve indoor air quality in underserved communities, reflecting his commitment to advancing both public health and environmental sustainability. He holds a doctorate and brings a research-informed perspective to delivering tailored solutions spanning regulatory compliance and proactive environmental management.
