Professional Biography
Greg Heiges has nearly 25 years of experience in the construction industry and is a Partner at YA Group. Greg has worked as an architect, owner representative, and construction manager for some of the nation’s largest academic medical centers and private commercial developers. He has been involved with all aspects of project development; from entitlement and pre-construction to final occupancy.
Having worked primarily on densely populated urban sites, Greg has spent most of his career managing steel frame high-rise construction. He has been involved with over 20 million square feet of work around the United States and internationally. With a focus on the healthcare sector, he has collaborated on coordinating supplemental building systems, installation, and start-up of numerous imaging and radiation therapy suites, including MRIs, MR/ORs, linear accelerators, and proton beams. Along with scheduling, phasing, and critical path analysis experience, Greg is well-versed in builder’s risk claims, compiling detailed scope assessments, and contract reviews.
