The Role:
The Certified Life Care Planner creates objective, evidence-based life care plans that help clients understand the long-term medical, vocational, and financial needs related to serious injuries or complex health conditions. This role helps attorneys, insurers, employers, and other stakeholders evaluate future care needs, expected costs, and long-term planning considerations with greater clarity and confidence.
This role is a good fit for a clinically experienced professional who enjoys reviewing medical records, conducting research, and writing clear, well-supported reports. The Certified Life Care Planner evaluates current and future care needs, researches medical services and costs, and prepares reports used in litigation, claims review, and case planning. The ideal candidate brings strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to explain complex medical information in a clear and practical way.

The team develops life care plans, medical cost projections, vocational evaluations, and litigation support solutions that help clients understand future care needs and associated costs. Working with law firms, insurance carriers, employers, and other stakeholders, YA’s Life Care Planning professionals deliver objective, evidence-based analyses that bring clarity to complex cases and support informed decision-making.
