Professional Biography
Tiffany La is a Senior Associate at YA Group and a licensed Professional Engineer specializing in structural analysis and design, damage assessment of existing structures, structural repairs, and seismic upgrades for existing buildings. In her role, she supports investigations, evaluations, and condition assessments that help ensure the performance and safety of the built environment.
Tiffany has extensive experience conducting investigations and condition assessments for multi-family residential and commercial buildings, as well as performing failure analysis of existing structures and building components. Her work focuses on understanding structural behavior, identifying damage mechanisms, and developing appropriate repair and retrofit strategies.
In addition, Tiffany has industry experience supporting new construction and seismic upgrade projects for K–12 schools, university buildings, and hospitals. She has also contributed to the design of several tsunami vertical evacuation towers along the Washington coast, further strengthening her expertise in complex and resilience-focused structural projects.
