Professional Biography
Tiffany La is a licensed civil engineer specializing in structural engineering, with expertise in steel, light-framed wood, mass timber, concrete, and masonry design. Tiffany is a valued member at YA Group.
She has worked on new construction and seismic retrofit projects for K–12 schools, university buildings, and hospitals. Her experience also includes reconstruction projects for single- and multi-family residential buildings, construction engineering, and nonstructural anchorage and bracing.
In addition to her primary expertise, Tiffany has contributed to tsunami design projects and helped design several tsunami vertical evacuation towers along the Washington coast. Her professional passions include conducting structural investigations, performing structural analysis, and completing seismic evaluations of existing structures.
