Professional Biography
Josh Burbery is a Senior Forensic Scheduling and Delay Consultant at YA Group with more than 12 years of experience in construction project management, project controls, scheduling, and delay analysis. Josh specializes in critical path method (CPM) scheduling, forensic schedule analysis, and business interruption assessments, with responsibilities spanning the evaluation of project schedules, payment applications, engineering drawings, and cost documentation to identify delay drivers, quantify schedule impacts, and develop recovery strategies for construction and restoration projects.
Josh has extensive experience in project controls, schedule development and maintenance, delay and disruption analysis, resource planning, cost management, and construction operations. Prior to joining YA Group, he served as a Project Manager and Scheduler for Benge Industries, where he managed multiple construction divisions and oversaw project planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, vendor coordination, and daily operations — successfully managing dozens of active projects each week while consistently delivering high levels of client satisfaction and on-time project performance.
Josh holds a Bachelor of Science from Western Oregon University with a major in Criminal Justice, a minor in Computer Science, and certifications in Crime Analysis and GIS Spatial Mapping. He is also proficient in Primavera P6, with broad experience supporting complex construction projects from planning through completion.
