Professional Biography
Joseph Del Guidice is a Senior Regional Consultant at YA Group with more than 20 years of experience in commercial and residential construction, restoration, renovation, and complex property loss consulting. His background spans new construction, interior and exterior restoration, exterior building envelope systems, roofing systems, and design-build project management across a wide range of property types.
Joseph has extensive experience in complex loss evaluation, builder’s risk investigations, scope development, installation defect recognition, and detailed cost analysis for roofing and building envelope claims. Prior to joining YA Group, Joseph served as a Director of Construction overseeing projects throughout the New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut markets, managing operations, project execution, subcontractor coordination, budgeting, scheduling, and quality control for large-scale construction and restoration projects. His experience also includes theft losses, water intrusion investigations, storm-related damages, fire and water restoration, schedule delay analysis, and construction defect evaluations.
Joseph regularly provides comprehensive estimating, reporting, and consulting services for commercial roofing, exterior envelope systems, mitigation projects, and structural restoration efforts, including review of contractor documentation, analysis of disputed project costs, and preparation of detailed findings for clients, carriers, and dispute resolution processes. He has developed and implemented training programs focused on roofing systems, building envelope estimating, restoration methodologies, and construction best practices. His practical construction background, combined with IICRC training, allows him to accurately assess mitigation requirements, repair scopes, and reconstruction needs for complex property losses.
