Professional Biography
Eric Cardenas is a skilled forensic animator with a diverse background as a 3D generalist artist in the film industry. He spent five years working as a stereoscopic and 2D compositor, contributing to over 20 blockbuster films, including Spider-Man: Homecoming, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Doctor Strange, and Star Trek Beyond. After his time in film, Eric transitioned to freelance projects, further refining his skills in visual storytelling.
In March 2020, he shifted industries to focus on accident reconstruction and surgical procedure animation, where he creates detailed, accurate exhibits for cases involving automobiles, pedestrians, motorcycles, heavy trucks, and recreational vehicles.
As a forensic animator, Eric works closely with engineers to develop demonstrative exhibits and animations that effectively communicate complex concepts for legal and insurance purposes.
