Professional Biography
Andrew Donovan is a Regional Consultant at YA Group with more than 20 years of experience in construction, insurance adjusting, and property damage assessment. In his role, he supports clients by evaluating property losses, analyzing scope and cost of repairs, and providing insight across residential, commercial, and complex structural claims. His work draws on deep field expertise developed through catastrophe response, construction estimating, and claims handling.
Earlier in his career, Andrew began as a field adjuster responding to catastrophe events nationwide on behalf of multiple insurance carriers. After managing several local territories, he transitioned to the restoration side of the industry, serving as an estimator for residential, multi‑family, and commercial projects. He later expanded into new construction through his work with a start‑up specializing in estimating large additions, remodels, and ground‑up builds. Before joining YA Group, Andrew operated as an independent adjuster, handling residential, commercial, and NFIP flood claims for regional IA firms.
Andrew’s diverse background spans adjusting, restoration, and construction, giving him a comprehensive understanding of the full property loss lifecycle—from initial assessment through final rebuild. His industry exposure includes residential housing, commercial properties, multi‑family developments, and large‑scale construction projects.
