Biography

Amanda Stanek is an accomplished executive in construction project management and a fellow of the Project Management College of Scheduling (PMCOS), with over 20 years of expertise leading complex, multi-billion-dollar projects across North America. Her career spans heavy civil infrastructure, hospitality, renewable energy, high-rise construction, and commercial development, with project values ranging from $1 million to $4.6 billion.

Amanda is a recognized expert in Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling, time impact analyses (TIAs), and forensic delay analysis. She has served as the executive lead on numerous high-profile and at-risk projects, driving them to completion through strategic oversight, directing schedule development, implementing proactive controls, and developing effective recovery strategies. Known for her analytical rigor, she delivers high-level reporting, conducts site reviews, and ensures alignment and transparency among stakeholders. Amanda also integrates Lean Construction practices, including pull planning and the Last Planner System (LPS), to enhance collaboration and schedule reliability.

Her expertise includes litigation support and claims consulting, where she provides forensic analyses for disputes involving delays, productivity loss, and acceleration claims. Amanda has developed scheduling specifications for private and government entities, improving project control standards and compliance.

In addition to consulting, Amanda is a national and international speaker, educator, and thought leader. She leads the West Coast Regional Team, overseeing scheduling initiatives, forensic claims, and consultant development to deliver best-in-class project control services. Amanda teaches Primavera P6 Construction Scheduling on behalf of YA Group, training public agencies and ENR Top 100 firms. As a fellow of PMCOS, she advances industry knowledge through professional speaking, mentorship, and the development of scheduling best practices.
