Scott Abraham is a Senior Managing Engineer at YA Group with over 20 years of experience as a professional engineer. His responsibilities include providing engineering design and consulting services across procurement, construction, quality assurance, forensic analysis, and litigation support. Scott serves as a trusted technical resource for insurance carriers, attorneys, building owners, design professionals, contractors, and government agencies across a wide range of construction types.
Scott has extensive experience in forensic engineering and failure analysis involving structural damage, pavement and utility design evaluations, hydrologic and hydraulic stormwater assessments, subsurface investigations, and soil and foundation instability. His background also includes catastrophe response and storm-damage assessments related to hurricane winds, storm surge, tornadoes, floods, and hail, as well as evaluations of material performance, construction defects, and compliance with applicable codes and contract documents.
Scott’s additional experience includes contributing to engineering design and construction projects in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, where he applied his technical expertise in complex and demanding environments.
