Professional Biography
Justin Petzold joined YA Group in 2025 and serves as General Counsel, overseeing all legal affairs of the organization. Prior to joining YA, he was Chief Legal Officer for a financial technology company, where he led corporate governance, compliance, and strategic transactions.
Earlier in his career, Justin practiced as a corporate attorney, most recently as a Partner in the Private Equity and M&A group at Kirkland & Ellis, where he advised clients on complex transactions, investments, and corporate matters.
