Professional Biography
Chris Gilbert is a Regional Consultant at YA Group. His career began by starting a graphic design/advertising company while attending the University of Texas, San Antonio. Over the course of 10 years, his company opened offices in several states while representing local and national brands.
After spending time in the graphic design/advertising industry, Chris entered the construction/restoration world. He worked for a regional restoration contractor/general contractor in San Antonio, specializing in residential mitigation and reconstruction. He worked in all capacities within the company, with an emphasis on estimating. Following this, Chris went on to work for one of the nation’s largest restoration companies, where he oversaw the reconstruction operations for South Texas. He managed multiple estimators, project managers, and construction crews working on commercial and residential projects.
Chris then joined a startup builder out of the Dallas area, specializing in constructing high-end modular homes. Initially hired as the Director of Construction, he was quickly promoted to the company’s COO, overseeing all company operations.
