Brianny Martinez is a Senior Associate at YA Group and is responsible for performing field investigations to evaluate structural damage resulting from a wide range of loss events, including fire, water intrusion, tree and vehicle impacts, and retaining wall failures. Working under the supervision of licensed engineers, Brianny conducts field assessments both independently and collaboratively, prepares technical reports outlining observed damage, causation, applicable code considerations, and repair recommendations, and develops repair drawings in accordance with the California Building Standards Codes and applicable design standards. She also coordinates with contractors, insurance adjusters, and municipal agencies to support projects from initial investigation through permitting and repair.

Brianny has extensive experience supporting structural evaluations through detailed field documentation, damage assessment, and technical analysis. She regularly collaborates with multidisciplinary teams and engages with the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) to facilitate approvals and address plan check comments, helping ensure projects progress efficiently and in compliance with applicable regulations.

In addition, Brianny brings prior industry experience from her role as a Project Engineer at Innovative Construction Solutions, where she gained hands-on experience reviewing contract documents, preparing as-built drawings, coordinating with project teams, and developing work packages using Bluebeam and AutoCAD. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Stanford University in June 2022, with a focus on structural design and construction, and is an Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) certified by the California Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists.
