Biography

Kyle Millemon is a licensed Professional Engineer with over 12 years of experience in structural building design and forensic investigations. His forensic background includes numerous investigations of damage to building structures and components resulting from hurricanes, tornados, fire events, vehicular impacts, foundation movement, seismic activity, blast/explosion events, wind, hail, and water intrusion. Additionally, he has investigated structural and building envelope failures due to product and installation deficiencies, including evaluation of resultant damages. Kyle provides expert testimony and litigation support for various parties, such as building owners, contractors, and insurance carriers. Kyle’s building design experience includes new construction and renovation project including multiple hospital and medical office buildings, education facilities, sports facilities, and commercial/industrial structures. He is experienced in the design of deep foundations, concrete, wood, and steel framed structures, connection detailing, tornado storm shelters, and blast design. His design expertise further includes analysis of existing structures and repairs to multiple structure types. Kyle prepared structural design packages as the Engineer of Record and performed construction administration on numerous projects which included regular field inspections and resolving coordination conflicts and installation defects.
