Professional Biography
Kelly Ainsworth is a Regional Consultant with nearly 20 years of experience, and a valued member of the construction consulting team at YA Group. He joined the organization in 2020 as a Senior Consultant, bringing decades of experience in construction, restoration, and project management. He has led a broad portfolio of projects, including the relocation and startup of manufacturing facilities and a diverse range of commercial construction developments—from small-scale initiatives to complex, multi‑million‑dollar builds.
His background includes extensive work on large-scale storm, flood, and fire restoration projects across high-rise condominiums, industrial sites, and commercial office buildings. Known for his ability to navigate challenging environments, he has served as a trusted resource on some of the industry’s most complex assignments.
Following his honorable separation from the United States Army in 1998, Kelly pursued higher education and began his civilian career in the construction industry. Over the past 19 years, he has directed major construction, renovation, and restoration projects and now consults on complex large‑loss insurance claims at YA Group. His work includes providing expert testimony during litigation depositions and assessing temporary repairs, mitigation efforts, and full restoration scopes.
Kelly thrives in the built environment and is passionate about solving problems and supporting others in achieving their goals. Outside of work, he values faith, patriotism, family, fishing, and the coastal outdoor lifestyle.
