Professional Biography
Karl Weisheit is a Partner on the Forensic Accounting team at YA Group. He is a forensic accountant with more than 35 years of public accounting, consulting, and management experience. He brings deep expertise in financial analysis, damages assessment, and litigation support, contributing to complex matters involving commercial and individual economic losses.
Karl has extensive experience calculating and analyzing commercial and individual damage claims. He provides testimony as a financial damages expert witness in federal and state courts, as well as in arbitration, mediation, and appraisal proceedings. He authored numerous expert reports, conducted comprehensive financial analyses, and provided expert witness services to attorneys in trial settings, including rebuttal of opposing experts.
Karl is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in Texas and holds the Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) and Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) credentials. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts, and the National Association of Forensic Economics.
