1997

• Founded to provide building consulting services, establishing the firm’s commitment to providing a decisive advantage to insurance clients
• Established an early West Coast presence with locations in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Seattle

2005

•  Expanded to the South and East Coast, marking the firm’s first major geographic growth beyond the West Coast

2017

• Celebrated our 20-year anniversary by surpassing 200 consultants, reflecting sustained growth and market demand
• Launched the forensic engineering practice, expanding technical capabilities and strengthening litigation and claims support services

2018

• Established an international presence with expertise in the U.K.

2021

• Entered a strategic partnership with CIVC Partners, accelerating growth and investment in people, platforms, and capabilities
• Surpassed 350 employees
• Launched equipment business to provide additional property damage services to insurers

2022

• Acquired FCMC, forming the foundation of our government services division
• Acquired Momentum Engineering, forming the foundation of our accident reconstruction and biomechanics division

2023

• Acquired Guardian Group, a surety and professional services group based out of Torrance, California, forming the foundation of our surety practice
• Acquired In-Line Consulting, a building consulting and engineering firm, expanding our building consulting presence in the southeast

2024

• Acquired Trophy Point, a cost-estimating and construction advising company
• Acquired Bloomberg Consulting, an accident reconstruction firm specializing in heavy trucks to bolster our accident reconstruction services division
• Established a strategic partnership with THL, supporting the firm’s next phase of growth
• Launched the environmental consulting practice, specializing in industrial hygiene, asbestos, mold, air quality and soot evaluations
• Surpassed 700 employees

2025

• Acquired Encore Group, a construction project scheduling firm with a focus on large commercial plant construction
• Acquired JMR, a building consulting firm to bolster our building consulting presence in the Texas market
• Acquired InQuis Global, a professional consulting firm specializing in vocational and life care planning
• Combined our construction cost estimating, scheduling and construction advisory groups to form the Planning & Construction Advisory Services (PCAS) division, which also includes owner’s representative services

2026

• Launched the Forensic Accounting business to provide forensic accounting and expand litigation capabilities
