Michael Baker

Biography

Michael Baker has 29 years of experience in the insurance & restoration industry, starting his career as a Field Underwriter. He originally started out as a multi-line claims representative and then moved into a property claims supervisor. Mr. Baker also owned a successful insurance agency for 11 years and specialized in commercial property and casualty insurance. After selling his agency and moving to the restoration side of the industry, he focused on operations management and large loss estimating. Mr. Baker’s expertise in the industry has been utilized over the years for Xactimate training, arbitration forums, appraisal, organizational leadership, peer development, estimate review, and the creation of an Estimating Playbook used to train new estimators on carrier and TPA guidelines. Michael brings experience from all sides of the table to serve his clients.
