David Spear is a National Business Development Executive with more than 20 years of experience in insurance, risk management and building consulting. David joined YA Group in 2017 as a Regional Consultant, gaining firsthand experience in building consulting through catastrophe claims work across Florida and North Carolina. In 2019, he transitioned into his current role, where he helps drive strategic partnerships and client growth initiatives nationwide.

Before joining YA Group, David held leadership positions with several of the largest insurance firms and brokers in the industry. His background includes designing, negotiating, underwriting and servicing complex insurance programs across multiple sectors. Drawing on this experience, he brings a practical understanding of both technical and relationship-driven aspects of the business.
