Biography

After graduating from Roger Williams University in 2016, Samantha Russ worked as a Field Engineer for Turner Construction in Boston. She eventually moved back to Vermont and started engineering design work in both underground water and sewer, as well as highway design for Dufresne Group and then CHA. In 2019 she joined Habitat for Humanity and moved to Utah, teaching people how to build energy-efficient housing for low-income families. After Habitat, Samantha joined Hensel Phelps as an Office Engineer on a project to build a 26-story hotel in downtown Salt Lake City. After completion, she took a position as a Construction Manager for Tough Mudder,  traveling around the US building obstacles for races.
