Biography

ROD SHARPNACK, joined YOUNG and Associates, as a Regional Consultant in 2020. Rod brings with him over 32 years of working in the construction management field, including construction cost estimating, project management, staff supervision, and cost analysis. His career began working in the buildings and grounds department with his local county park district. His career quickly advanced, and he left his position as an Operations Director to pursue an opportunity in the restoration field. In the last 12+ years, he has estimated, managed, and closed hundreds of insurance losses. In this role, he worked cohesively with adjusters, contractors, sub-contractors, homeowners, business owners, principles, and clergy. Rod has estimated and managed multiple types of property losses, including residential homes, schools, churches, manufacturing facilities, apartment facilities, post offices, and shopping centers.
