Biography

Michael Frolov is a Senior Project Manager with over 15 years of experience, including forensic, geotechnical, and construction engineering, along with construction materials testing and inspection. He has experience with various building types and holds engineering license in numerous states. His forensic engineering experience consists of investigations of geotechnical, structural, and building envelope failures, and the analysis in building code construction and earth movement related to the distress of structural materials. Mike has experience with geotechnical instrumentation, pavement design, ground improvement methods, and subsurface soil and rock explorations. He has evaluated site drainage methods and directed and evaluated drilling operations and associated soils laboratory testing. He has completed the International Code Council (ICC) Master of Special Inspections certification program. He has also taught at Shoreline Community College as an Adjunct Instructor of Engineering and served as a Geotechnical Technical Reviewer for the Civil PE Exam at Kaplan.
