Biography

Megan Reese joined YA Engineering Services in 2020. She is a licensed Professional Engineer with 20 years of experience in the investigation, evaluation, and repair of structures and building envelopes. She has conducted property loss assessments on buildings and infrastructure to evaluate damage resulting from hurricanes, fire, snow, water intrusion, overloading, and adjacent construction. Additional practice areas include construction defect investigation and litigation support. Her engineering and construction experience encompasses all project phases, including condition assessment, repair design, development of construction documents, and construction administration, both for structural systems and building envelopes. Ms. Reese has experience with a wide variety of historical and contemporary structure types and materials, ranging from 19th-century cast-iron buildings to reinforced concrete infrastructure.
