Biography

Megan Helsabeck is a Senior Consultant at YA Group on the construction consulting team. Megan’s experience stemmed directly out of college while working for a national home building company, then a custom home builder, before finally with A&I Fire and Water Restoration on the East Coast in South Carolina.

She spent the next 14 years as a residential/commercial estimator which allowed her to estimate over 35 million of work. During her time as a project estimator, she was involved with multiple named Hurricanes, forest fires, mold remediations that affected high rise beach hotels, condos, residential homes, colleges, and hospitals. This allowed her to experience scoping properties using Xactimate and evaluating pricing/scope variations and negotiations with insurance companies.
