Biography
Kevin has over 25 years of engineering experience in forensic, civil, geotechnical, and structural disciplines. At YA Group, he provides forensic consulting services related to structural failures, ground movement and vibration, collapse analysis, and building code compliance, including permissible repairs and mandated upgrades.
He has conducted forensic investigations for public and private clients, resolving claims involving construction defects, design disputes, and code violations. Kevin offers litigation support across materials such as concrete, steel, masonry, wood, and soil, and for damage resulting from natural events including earthquakes, storms, fires, and ground movement.
His work includes cause and origin analyses of failures in residential and commercial structures due to design and construction deficiencies, maintenance issues, or environmental forces.
Before joining YA Group, Kevin developed structural and civil plans, specifications, and budgets for public and private infrastructure projects. He is well-versed in land development, grading, drainage, erosion control, stormwater systems, and the rehabilitation of roads, slopes, and buried utilities.
