Biography

Ken Tandy is the National Director of Accident Reconstruction and Forensic Animation at YA Group, bringing more than three decades of experience in vehicle dynamics, testing, and forensic analysis. Ken began his career in the automotive industry in 1992 and has since held positions ranging from vehicle dynamics analyst to development manager of advanced vehicle technology systems.

Over his career, Ken has consulted on accident reconstructions involving automobiles, light and commercial trucks, and complex vehicle systems. His expertise includes vehicle dynamics testing, simulation and modeling, and failure analysis for a wide range of equipment and components. A licensed professional engineer in multiple states, Ken has provided expert testimony in court and authored numerous peer-reviewed technical publications.
