Biography

JOHN BENDER joined YOUNG & Associates in 2016 as a Senior Consultant and quickly worked his way up to Regional Consultant in 2019. John’s experience began in college working as general labor on residential construction projects while obtaining his degree in Urban & Regional Planning. For more than 20 years, John worked as a project manager and project estimator, with a strong emphasis on property loss restoration. His experience ranges from residential projects to large commercial losses. He has been involved in hail and wind damages, ice damming, Hurricane work at Rita, Katrina, Wilma, Irene, Sandy and Matthew in addition to major floods. John’s years of experience working in the construction industry has given him extensive knowledge to assess what is needed for rebuilding and restoration projects.
