Donnie Slayton

Biography

Donnie Slayton served as a law enforcement officer with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office for 25 years. While at the JSO, he was assigned many roles including 7 years as a patrolman and 17 years as a detective in the following units: burglary, auto theft, robbery, homicide, and narcotics. He was assigned to a joint FBI Task Force investigating certain robberies and coordinated regularly with the FBI regarding robberies of financial institutions. Later, He was assigned to a Pharmaceutical Diversion Unit which investigated prescription fraud and pharmaceutical diversion within medical treatment facilities by medical professionals. After concluding a public service career, Mr. Slayton worked in the insurance industry for 3 years as both an SIU investigator and a field adjuster for a homeowner’s insurance company.

Mr. Slayton is currently a licensed private investigator in Florida and Georgia with YOUNG & Associates and maintains adjuster licenses in several states.
