Biography

CONNOR KAPISAK joined YOUNG & Associates in 2022. Connor was a student-athlete at the University of Iowa, where he received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting while earning Academic All-Big Ten Honors. He is currently pursuing his Master of Science degree in Construction Management & Technology at Arizona State University. Connor has experience overseeing all phases of property insurance claims ranging from $1MM to $140MM. This includes hurricane, water, wildfire, wind, freeze, flood, smoke, vandalism/theft, MEP, hail, and builder’s risk losses at 5-star all-inclusive resorts, commercial high rises, residential high rises, hospitals, hotels, military bases, schools, universities, healthcare facilities, cogeneration plants, multi-family apartments, condominium complexes, high-end residential custom homes, restaurants, movie theaters, and municipalities across the United States and internationally from the Hawaiian Islands to the Dominican Republic. He consulted on significant catastrophes, such as Hurricane Ian, Hurricane Fiona, Winter Storm Elliot, and the Maui wildfires. As a Senior Consultant with YOUNG & Associates, his role capitalizes on his expertise in scope development, cost estimating, project management, damage assessment, mitigation, restoration, building reconstruction, invoice auditing, reporting, negotiation, valuations, aerial drone imagery, business development, contents, scheduling, Matterport, Hover, Microsoft Office, and on-site project monitoring to evaluate large and complex losses.
