Biography

Ms. Guess joined YA Engineering Services in 2023 as a Project Manager, performing investigations of residential, commercial, industrial, and maritime properties to determine the cause & origin of structural damage and the scope of repairs with anticipated code upgrades. Ms. Guess conducts structural damage assessments for various situations, such as earthquakes, fires, vehicle & tree impacts, snow & wind loads, water & vessel loads, construction defects, etc. She provides detailed reports and works with contractors and jurisdictions to produce permitted repair drawings, as requested. Additionally, Ms. Guess is an experienced expert witness with litigation consulting experience.
