Biography

BRIAN O’CONNOR joined YOUNG & ASSOCIATES in 2008. Brian started in the construction industry in the mid-’80s working as a roofer, siding assistant, rough framer, & equipment operator. Brian commenced fire & water restoration in the early 2000s and by 2006 was a Project Manager. As a regional consultant with YOUNG & Associates, Brian has provided construction and restoration consulting services on a variety of losses on commercial, industrial, hospitality, medical, agricultural, and multi-family dwellings. Brian has been instrumental in the development of YA clerk of the works services and has completed multi-faceted projects which have involved multiple carriers and extensive complexities with great success. Brian has also completed additional certifications to bolster his consulting expertise including WRT (Water Remediation Technician), FSRT (Fire/Smoke Restoration Technician, ASD (Applied Structural Drying), AMRT (Applied Microbial Remediation Technician), and HCI-R/C (Haag-Certified Residential & Commercial Roofing Inspector).
