Biography

BRET O’STEEN has been with YOUNG & Associates since 2018. Bret has vast experience working closely with Adjusters, Owners, Contractors, Engineers, and Industrial Hygienists with a major work emphasis in building reconstruction, restoration, equipment, and remediation cost. He has oversight experience in many forms/types of construction and restoration including; multi-family dwellings, educational, municipal, hotel/motel, healthcare, and multi-story high rise construction. Bret’s consulting skills include the assessment and itemization of damage, development of preliminary and detailed repair estimates, negotiation of reconstruction scopes and associated costs to resolve complex claims in a timely fashion. As a result of Bret’s almost 30-years of industry-wide experience, he has developed a unique skill set which includes: excellent interpersonal skills with clients, subcontractors, management, and the ability to meet rigid timelines and budget constraints, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
