Biography

Mr. Schwertfeger has more than ten years of experience in the construction industry. His experience and skills include project management, assessing damages, on-site monitoring, and estimating water, flood, fire, wind, and hail damage claims. Mr. Schwertfeger provides additional expertise in city and county projects. He has assisted on various claims ranging from high-net-worth custom homes to multi-family residences, healthcare facilities, and commercial construction. Prior to joining YOUNG & Associates, Mr. Schwertfeger worked as an operations manager with an industry-leading plumbing company. His hands-on experience has given him extensive knowledge of the cause and origin of water leaks and damage mitigation. He has installed, improved, tested, and serviced a range of systems for high-profile residential homes, high rises, schools, government buildings, and healthcare facilities.
