She develops comprehensive life care plans and provides expert analysis for complex medical cases, leveraging her clinical background and insurance industry expertise. Laura’s work focuses on objective evaluations that project future medical, rehabilitative, and supportive care needs for individuals with long-term injuries or chronic conditions.

Previously, Laura served as a Medical Resource for claim handlers, leadership, and legal counsel at State Farm Insurance for 18 years, and as a Senior Liability Nurse Consultant for Complex Commercial Liability at Liberty Mutual Insurance for four years. In these roles, she conducted claim file reviews, developed training programs on medical issues commonly seen in claims, and contributed to high-level claims projects. During her tenure, Laura earned the Associate in Claims (AIC) and Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designations.

Laura’s clinical experience includes work as a Registered Nurse in medical/surgical care, ambulatory care, community health, occupational health, and case management. She completed a 120-hour post-graduate training program in Life Care Planning through the Institute of Rehabilitation and Education Training and currently holds certifications as a Certified Life Care Planner (CLCP), Board-Certified Occupational Health Nurse Specialist/Case Manager (COHN-S/CM), and Board-Certified Legal Nurse Consultant (LNCC).
