Ravi Mehta

Biography

Ravi Mehta joined YA Group in 2025 to lead corporate development and mergers & acquisitions. He has 20+ years of experience developing and implementing growth strategies and originating, negotiating, and executing strategic acquisitions globally.

Ravi joined YA Group from Arthur J. Gallagher (NYSE: AJG) where he led International Mergers & Acquisitions and strategic development for Gallagher Benefits Services.

Prior to joining Gallagher, Ravi led global strategy and M&A for Buck, a $300 million revenue private-equity sponsored business providing HR, employee benefits, and retirement services. In 2023, he successfully partnered with H.I.G. Capital to lead Buck’s sale to Arthur J. Gallagher.

Ravi spent the majority of his career at Marsh McLennan (NYSE: MMC) as a Managing Director in the Strategy and Corporate Development group. In this capacity, he was responsible for leading the development and execution of acquisitions and divestitures globally. Notably, he served as the Head of Corporate Development for Mercer, a $5+ billion revenue subsidiary of MMC. He structured, negotiated, and closed deals with an aggregate transaction value of ~$3.5 billion

Ravi developed his financial and strategic acumen early in his career working as a CPA at PricewaterhouseCoopers and later as a management consultant at Galt & Company. He earned his BS in Finance and Accounting from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
