Biography

Patrick Dale Riedlinger is a Mechanical Engineer with 30 years of progressive technical experience. Patrick is a valued member of the YA Group team, where he applies his extensive engineering expertise to accident reconstruction and product analysis.

He has successfully reconstructed vehicular accidents ranging from minor property damage to multi-vehicle collisions involving fatalities. His experience includes motor vehicle fire investigations and accidents involving cars, trucks, motorcycles, bicycles, and pedestrians. Patrick is trained and experienced in collecting and applying Event Data Recorder (“black box”) information from heavy trucks and passenger vehicles as it relates to accident reconstruction.

In addition to accident analysis, Patrick’s background includes advanced consumer product design and engineering. His manufacturing experience, combined with process engineering, testing, and design expertise, enables him to analyze a wide variety of mechanical products and work processes involved in consumer product manufacturing. He frequently applies his knowledge in failure analysis and manufacturing standards to deliver accurate, reliable evaluations.

Patrick earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University. He also has extensive training as a traffic accident reconstructionist and is a certified fire investigator.
