Biography

Mike brings over 30 years of extensive experience in the construction industry. He effectively collaborates with owners, construction managers, and design teams to successfully complete a wide range of projects. His background includes close collaboration with commissioning agents and MEP contractors, ensuring seamless project delivery from start to finish.

With a strong foundation in public works, Mike is well-versed in coordinating schedules with various city authorities and contractors, both MEP and civil. His utility relocation experience spans some of the busiest streets in major cities like Los Angeles, Seattle, and Las Vegas.

In addition to his hands-on expertise, Mike possesses solid scheduling and planning capabilities, complemented by excellent problem-solving skills. He effectively leads on-site field administration, overseeing construction operations and supervising assistants, foremen, subcontractors, and other personnel.

Mike is committed to direct planning, coordination, and execution of work, consistently meeting or exceeding budget goals while maintaining a safe work environment and fostering strong client relationships.

Representative Consulting Assignments

  • Los Angeles Metro Purpleline 2 | Project Manager | Working on the Beverly Hills Station on Wilshire Blvd. Project consists of a 900 foot long Subway Station and an adjoining Entrance. Working with project team on contract and descope for all trade packages. Working with Ownership on the overall Logistics for the surrounding neighborhoods in Beverly Hills. Responsible for all schedules, all contractor meetings and weekly Owner Meetings. Utility Relocation on Wilshire Blvd. in Beverly Hills included scheduling with all city Authorities Having Jurisdiction, and Contractors (Both MEP and Civil). This included 900’ of new HDPE Sewer, Gas line, City Water Line, Sanitary Sewer, 3,000’ of New SCE Power Lines with 7 new Electrical Vaults.
  • Los Angeles World Airport | General Superintendent | Working on a Joint Venture project for Delta Airlines. Project consists of some 42 individual tenant relocations within two terminals. Additional and re- sequenced baggage conveyor, 9 additional gates, demo and re-construction of Head House. Working with Delta Air Operations and LAWA Operations on schedules and sequencing gate closures. Project consists of two shifts to support airline traffic and passenger flow.
  • Constellation Park | General Superintendent | Working with the Pre-Con team to ensure that all B1 Scopes are correct before going out for Bid. Working with project team on contract and descope for all trade packages. Working with Ownership on the overall Logistics for the surrounding neighbors. Working on complete project schedule before project start. Constellation Park consists of a 42 story tower, 3 story amenities building on top of roughly 1 million square feet of 3 story subterranean parking garage.
  • Circa | General Superintendent | Circa is a 1.8 million sf mixed-use development located in downtown Los Angeles. The project includes two, 34-story towers with 648 high-end residential units within a 100-foot podium, with 48,000 square feet of prime, ground-level retail and 1,770 parking spaces catering to the adjacent Staples Center and LA Live complex. The nearly two-acre resort-style amenity deck is located 100 feet above street level. Utility Works on Figuroa St. Downtown Los Angeles included scheduling with all city Authorities Having Jurisdiction, and Contractors (Both MEP and Civil). Installed 700’ of new electrical duct bank including 1 new electrical vault, tie ins for city water, gas, and sewer.
  • Alaskan Way Viaduct Replacement Project | General Superintendent | Worked with WSDOT, SDOT, HNTB, and the County Building and Fire Departments. Developed schedules for all disciplines on both the North and South Operations Buildings, including 400 feet of cut-and-cover construction. Led weekly subcontractor meetings and collaborated with WSDOT and HNTB to resolve punch list items. Coordinated scheduling and commissioning activities with the Commissioning Agent (CXA) and MEP subcontractors. Utility work on Figueroa Street in downtown Los Angeles included scheduling with all city authorities having jurisdiction and both MEP and civil contractors. Oversaw the installation of 2,000 feet of new electrical duct bank, one new electrical vault, and tie-ins for city water, gas, and sewer systems.
  • McCarran International Airport (Terminal 3) | Senior Superintendent | Worked with the Department of Aviation (DOA), Bechtel, PGAL, and the County Building and Fire Departments. Developed interior schedules for all disciplines and led weekly subcontractor meetings. Collaborated with the Owner and Bechtel to resolve punch list items. Coordinated with Vanderlande (BHS) to complete testing for Raytheon and Battelle. Worked closely with the Commissioning Agent (CXA) and MEP subcontractors to manage scheduling and commissioning activities.
  • Wynn Encore Las Vegas | Senior Superintendent | Developed interior schedules for all disciplines and worked closely with Wynn Development and the project architect. Led weekly subcontractor meetings and coordinated scheduling and commissioning efforts with the Commissioning Agent (CXA) and MEP subcontractors.
  • The Hilton Grand Vacation Club (15 story parking garage) | Superintendent | Worked with owner and design team. Created working scheduled for all contractors to use. Managed scheduled and met with owner to go over cost for project.
