Accident Reconstructionist II
Biography
Logan Edwards is an Accident Reconstructionist II at YA Group with specialized expertise in forensic collision analysis. As a Professional Engineer (PE) and ACTAR Accredited Traffic Accident Reconstructionist, he focuses on reconstructing collisions involving heavy and medium‑duty trucks, passenger vehicles, motorcycles, and pedestrians. In his role at YA Group, Logan is responsible for conducting technical investigations, analyzing complex vehicle data, and developing clear, evidence‑based findings for clients.
Logan has extensive experience retrieving and analyzing event data recorder (EDR) information from both heavy trucks and passenger vehicles. He performs comprehensive on‑site vehicle and scene documentation using 3D laser scanning, drone-based imaging, digital photography, and precise field measurements. His analytical work includes vehicle dynamics evaluations, virtual collision simulations, and forensic video analysis, among other reconstruction methodologies.
In addition to his core reconstruction work, Logan has experience creating demonstrative exhibits—such as diagrams, images, and animations—to effectively communicate technical findings. His engineering background, advanced reconstruction training, and specialized certifications further support his ability to provide clear, accurate, and scientifically grounded analyses.
