Biography
Mr. David Gomez holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Marine Engineering and a U.S. Coast Guard Second Assistant Engineer license. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in ten states, including New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Florida, Georgia, and Louisiana.
Mr. Gomez brings extensive experience across plant engineering, facilities management, and construction project management in the marine, cultural arts, entertainment, and real estate sectors. His expertise spans the full project lifecycle—from planning, design, and construction through commissioning, operations, and compliance—with a strong focus on fire safety and building systems performance.
As a forensic engineer, Mr. Gomez conducts root-cause analyses of a wide range of failures, including mechanical (HVAC, MEP, and fire protection), moisture intrusion through building envelopes and foundations, electrical distribution issues, elevator and escalator malfunctions, and damage to marine vessels and marinas. He evaluates building systems and structural components across residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial properties.
