David Daren
Senior Managing Accident Reconstructionist
Biography
David Daren is a crash reconstruction specialist with extensive experience in the investigation, analysis, and reconstruction of motor vehicle collisions. He is a valued member of the Accident Reconstruction team at YA Group, where he focuses on crash reconstruction, vehicle dynamics, and Event Data Recorder (EDR) analysis.
David has been involved in more than two thousand investigations since 1988, analyzing collisions involving automobiles, heavy trucks, buses, pedestrians, bicycles, motorcycles, and farm equipment. He has also worked on cases requiring advanced video analysis and photogrammetry, applying technical methodologies to evaluate complex accident scenarios.
Outside of his casework, David is an automotive enthusiast with a particular interest in the Corvette C8, a passion that deepens his practical understanding of handling, braking, and advanced driver‑assistance systems.
